This book is IMPORTANT

“The Help” takes an important role in the subject of history, teaches readers the more cruel, and specific things that went down other than what we are most told in grade school, like, just being told that is was mainly “Just slavery, and whipping” or “Something that was normal” now don’t get me wrong, yeah basically the book is about slavery, and not really whipping but everything they went through, probably was just as painful as being whipped. And that stuff, not normal, it shouldn’t have been a “Normal” because that’s just something horrible, it’s something that shouldn’t have been a thing period. So this book is IMPORTANT because this teaches a lot more than what we are told in grade and maybe middle school. I’m glad i read/reading this book. I learned a lot more and i thought a lot more.
